A number of times each year Just Coffee offers customized travel delegations to visit our coffee producers all over the world. Delegations are available to Just Coffee customers, friends, community members, avid coffee drinkers, and anyone with an interest in fair trade and cultural diversity.

Our delegations serve as a way for our company to stay in close contact with our coffee producing groups, a value we feel is integral to truly fair trade. Delegations are educational travel experiences that focus on the long production of coffee from the tree to your cup, the ideologies and realities of fair trade as it currently exists, as well as discussions on globalization, cultural diversity, autonomy and indigenous rights, international relations, the intense histories of the communities and countries we visit, current events, and much, much, more!

Each delegation's focus is customized specifically to the needs of its travelers. In order to provide a more well rounded view of the place we are visiting we meet with, share meals, and often stay overnight with a coffee growing community. Depending upon the country we are visiting, we also meet with other organizations such as local craftspeople, artist collectives, traditional medicine healers, local radio stations, locally produced magazines, research organizations, Permaculutre and sustainable agriculture groups, United Nations officials, government officials, environmental groups, and many others. Outside of these encounters we also take every opportunity to visit local markets, eat traditional foods (we do make accommodations for dietary restrictions when possible), and explore as much of the culture and natural environment that the area we are visiting has to offer. Nature hikes, volcano visits, and snorkeling and diving can also be added to some delegation trips.

Our travel delegations offer a safe and supportive environment for people of all different ages, genders, capabilities, nationalities, religions, and backgrounds to participate in. We encourage positive, creative discussion and processing of all that we are taking in, learning about and experiencing.
